Re: Licence V4 to V5

To abruptly decide to remove one of the two seats on a V4 license is a deal breaker for me. That was a really rotten thing to do. As I can't trust that you will continue to validate V4 installs I'm forced to look at alternatives. I tend to feel the same. I was considering upgrading as I do like S3D...

Re: Need wizard for duplicating objects onto print bed

If you want to duplicate the part and the process, why do you need multiple processes? Can't you duplicate the part and use the same process? Just a CTRL-D and you're there.

Optimise inter-layer strength

Now, I'm pretty certain that this will have been suggested before, but I've not seen it. So, I apologise if it is already under discussion. S3D has a feature to print both support and infill using multiple layers at once, effectively printing two (or more) layer heights in one extrusion. This is qui...

Skirt print speed

Hello, I have being trying to print one model recently and it has been scuppered each time by the speed at which the skirt is being printed. The speed of the print itself is fine but the skirt will not adhere and then gets dragged into the print. I have searched this forum and have seen both sides o...

Re: Need help with PETG

This is a common problem with PETG. It's a lot stickier than PLA and sticks to itself very well. The normal solution is to have a much smaller gap between the support and the base and to use a much a dense top layer on the support. On the one hand this should improve the quality, but you'll risk not...

Re: Outline Shells Not Bonding

The normal reason for this is that the thickness of the wall that's being printed is not a multiple of the extrusion width. eg extrusion width is 0.4 and the wall is 1.0. That leaves a 0.2mm gap between two 0.4mm extrusions. If this is what's happening then the best option is to play with the wall o...

Re: Optimized Flashforge Profiles?

That's interesting (a FFCP owner writes). Are there details of what improvements have been made?

Re: Anet A8 Plus

Just to say that everything seems to be working with an A8 profile modified for the bigger build volume. I'm currently exporting gcode to TF but I plan to try hooking up the USB shortly.

Anet A8 Plus

Does anyone have or know whether there is an S3D profile for the Anet A8 plus? There doesn't seem to be one listed yet on the S3D HCL.

Thanks
