Re: FFF file location?

Going to add my own experiences to this - and express my complete frustration. I now have a S3D install that will NOT update profiles, NOT export profiles, NOT modify profiles and will NOT import profiles WITHOUT CRASHING. I'd like to try a reinstall - but fear I will loose any custom profiles. I've...

Re: STL as Mask (think photoshop masks) before print preview

Wanted to chime in with a variation of the same request. Here's a link to the other thread I posted on using separate meshes for slicer boolean operations. https://forum.simplify3d.com/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=11578 This is something Cura has implemented and it's a fantastic option. You have the ability...

Re: Partial Infill-Density on Model (not layer based)

I'm trying to work out a similar issue, only having no infill in a specific region of the part. Cura is able to do this by using separate meshes that act as a modifier on other object's infill settings. Would be great to have a similar feature in S3D.

Feature request - separate mesh used for hollowing out infill in large models

This is something that I'd love to see in S3D - the ability to hollow out infill for large models. I've been trying to figure out a way to do it manually, but it's tough. The idea would be to have a separate mesh that creates an inner cavity in the model infill. Attaching a few example images - one ...
