Re: Support islands

I'm aware of custom supports and use them all the time. Thanks, but that does not answer my question.

Is there a way to auto-delete islands less than 2 mm? I don't believe so, and it would be nice to see that in the next version.

Support islands

Is there any setting to avoid small support islands? Sometimes the islands are tiny and do not stand up on their own, it would be great to autodelete islands less than 2mm.

Re: Quality Issue in Flexible TPU

It looks like your having an issue with layer adhesion. What temperature / speed are you using? Also, is this an old spool and how high is your humidity?

Re: Print Quality problems

I don't print in ABS, but here are some of my opinions.
Bed Temp seems really high
Speed is far too high
Cooling should be on.

Try turning cooling on 50%, and slow that print down.

Re: Burning

Unfortunately, that did not work. 0.8 didn't fix it, and the filament is 1.75

Update:
I found out I did not have the hot end tightened all the way and it was leaking filament from the top.

Re: Sequential Printing, Multi Process, Multi Color.

That's awesome. Can you give a bit more detail? How did you pause?

I'm struggling with supports ruining my models, I wonder if I could use this to swap out PVA. But it might require too much swapping.

Thanks, for the suggestion.

Burning

I just installed a swiss micro all metal hot end, and I'm having issues. I usually print PETG at 240c, but after the hot end change I had to bump it up to 250c. I also turned off retraction, as it was goobering too much. This is my first print with this hot end, and I don't know why it's all burnt. ...

Support structure

What is the best settings for "Horizontal offset from part". The default was set at .3 but it results in supports that are difficult to remove. When I set to .4 the print messes up and I get goobers. Also, what is best "support structure under-speed", the default is 80%, but coul...

Re: not filling rod on ends

Before I saw this I actually fixed my recreation in Solidworks and used my own model.

But thats awesome, I learned something new about printing other peoples models.
