Re: Turn off support material nozzle when done using

So I use the "replace" first split the process at the point you wish to turn off rename your process which will turn off T0 to something like "process-T0_OFF" in the "scripts" tab under "additional terminal commands for pose processing" add the line {REPLACE "-T0_OFF" "-T0_OFF\nM104 T0 S0"} so now i...

Re: Wierd Model Artifacts

well then you are seeing the stops and starts on each layer (Retraction). Also can be a result of over extrusion or much extra restart distance. Best bet if the finish is is importance is control where the seam is with use of "choose start point closest to specific location" remember this point can ...

Re: Change Logs and or New Features implemented 4.1.2.

I have requested this as well for better documentation online of existing features. bit and pieces are all scattered all over this forum. I bet there special "variables" that where never documented which could be used in the Scripts area. Can even remember the term they use. Since that is not even d...

Change Logs and or New Features implemented 4.1.2.

Before I install 4.1.2 I would like to see the change log or what new features are implemented. I don't what to mess thing up that I am currently working on. Or is there something I can take advantage of that will really help me. "Numerous bug fixes and stability improvements" really does not cut it...

Re: problem with internal thickness zero walls

S3D needs a closed contour to fill in with material. it will not work with what you are trying to do. It will not put a bead on the edge of the surface. you will have to "thicken" the surfaces in SolidWorks. the only reason you see something with the cylinder is it is a closed contour. This would be...

Re: Wierd Model Artifacts

I see you are new to the software. this is the graphical presentation of retractions. There is a check box on that screen to turn it off if you wish. But gives you a sense where you might get "blobs" at the start of each contour.

Re: Bad/Lazy support settings

doing to separate process is working great for me. One for support the other for the model. Just now S3D just annoys me all the time say the processes overlap and again if I want to generate support. So now I have to hit Yes and then No all the time. accidentally hit yes once which you can't see in ...

Re: Controlling support offset by distance not by just layer

I forgot to add the S3D will complain about the processes over lapping. Just accept and continue. then a second message asking of you would like to turn on supports and you should select NO as this would double the support.

Re: Bad/Lazy support settings

I completely understand but finally found a solution after a few years.
Check this out on how to set this up but this will give you complete control on the gap distance. Wish this was a feature built in and gets very complicated.
