Re: Speeds Settings per each Extruder

Indeed, setting speed on a per-layer basis, like with cooling, would be very nice. I now often have multiple processes to have different speeds.

But.. is what you want not doable with processes? Just uses a process for whatever you want wood and whatever you want PLA, and set the speeds accordingly?

Re: Better Build Time calculation

Sorry to interfere as a normal user with a feature request, however, what you're requesting is near impossible to code. The problem with this is that every kind of controller board has a different algorithm to cope with things like acceleration and jerk, amongst other. They _could_ estimate slightly...

Re: Bulk setting change for processes

Ah, so this is a case of RTFM. Many thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

Feature request : fan behavior preview

I'd like to see the fan behaviour in the preview pane. Like when it's turned on, off, what speeds, and so on.

Bulk setting change for processes

Feature: bulk setting change It would be nice to be able to change a single or multiple settings for a selection of processes at once. If this is already possible, I apologize for apparently not having read the fine manual well enough :) Say I have an object printed using 5 processes. Single extrude...

Re: v4 hangs when slicing a model

For the heck of it.. I have both 3.11 and 4.00 installed, if I right click a file I can choose to open it with 3.11 or 4.0.

And, sure enough, 3.11 has no issues whatsoever slicing your file:

The issue is not your file or settings. The issue is the slicer.

Re: v4 hangs when slicing a model

There's simply a bug in S3D where it comes to thin wall extrusions. A bug which was introduced in the latest version, the previous version does not have this issue. So it's a new bug which would need to be fixed. I would dare to wage a sizeable bet on that your file will slice fine in S3D 3.11. Have...

Re: 4.0 crashes on this factory; 3.11 does NOT

This is a forum which is also read by the S3D employees. The subforum I'm posting this in, is called troubleshooting AND BUG REPORTS . I am not asking for help in any way. I'm reporting a bug. I have made this clear in the FIRST post, and subsequently in the following posts, over and over again. Why...

Re: 4.0 crashes on this factory; 3.11 does NOT

I did not smoke anything, but it's highly annoying that if you post a bug report, someone is giving off-topic answers, and even insisting on doing so after you explain that's not the issue. And as far as the image rendering on the models/processing page; this has nothing to do with manifold, but wit...

Re: 4.0 crashes on this factory; 3.11 does NOT

Please stop answering with non-applicable stuff. The issue here is that 3.11 renders these files to gcode fine, 4.00 crashes on it while making gcode. THAT is the issue. Please, if you have no answer or info related to THAT issue, then don't answer. Again, whatever there may be about these .stl's, t...
