PLA not sticking to TPU

Hi, I'm trying to print a somewhat complex model where I combine TPU (PolyMaker PolyFlex) and PLA. The lower layers are mostly TPU, and I'm builing a PLA structure on top. Where ever the TPU is put on top of the PLA it seems to stick like super glue on fingers... The other way around though, the PLA...

What can I do to prevent these small errors

Re: [BUG?] "Extra Inflation Distance" extending through body

Hi Doug, hi wirlybird,

I agree that this could be printed without supports just fine.

Question remains though, shouldn't the extra support distance feature be smart enough not to extend through existing geometry?

[BUG?] "Extra Inflation Distance" extending through body

Hi, When I use the "Extra Inflation Distance" setting under the support options tab to make tiny supports a bit bigger, the supports extend through the actual object to the other side and continue there (see images). This is annoying because it means having to clean the supports of the oth...

Re: Is there a reasonm S3D puts PLA on the right and PVA on the left?

Hi wirlybird,

I'm guessing this is not a S3D setting but part of your printer profile? I have a Felix TEC 4 and the default there is PLA left, PVA right. Now, my printer comes with fans on both sides, so it shouldn't matter for me.

Not sure this helps you, but these are my 2 cents..

M73 commands?

Hi, I'm trying to get my head around progress and print time prediction. I've found that there is such a thing as the M73 command in gCode. It might not be supported by many printers according to http://reprap.org/wiki/G-code#M73:_Set_build_percentage but it exists. Search the forum I find loads of ...

Wider supports?

Hi, Being quite new to this, I hope some more experienced users can help me on my way. I'm using my Felix TEC4 with dual extruders to print some small parts. I print using PVA supports but notice that the supports are very narrow in places and don't stick well to the base or eachother. While when pr...

Build Statistics per extruder

Hi, Is it possible to get Build Statistics per extruder? When using dual extruder it would be extremely handy to know how much I will use of each indiviual material. I try to keep my spool of PVA support material stored in a platic container with some silica gel packs to keep it from getting ruined ...
