Re: Single wall in small details - can anyone help?

In Advanced, change External Thin Wall Type from Allow Single Extrusions to Perimeters Only.

Hi Jason,
That sounds great. Will you guys be releasing a minor bug fix, like a v5.01 or something?

Re: What new features are in v5 that are not already available in free slicers?

OK but this did not answer my question. My question is what new features are in V5 that are not already available elsewhere?
Somebody?

What new features are in v5 that are not already available in free slicers?

My subject heading says it all. Are there any new features in v5 that are not already available in other free slicers like Cura, Prusa, IdeaMaker, and SuperSlicer? Or is this simply a "catch-up" update that added some, but not all of the missing features that have already been available in...

Re: Changing the scale of a model does not maintain the scale percentage value V5

+1 definitly a bug Yep same here, found out the hard way by waisting a day chasing this around, what the hell man? Ya, best thing to do now is note what you scaled everything at. If need to change scaling, reset all transforms and then change the value to a new percent. Unfortunately if you hit res...

Re: V5 Crashing On Clicking Prepare To Print

I've encountered a similar issue... do you have coasting or wipe enabled? Try disabling coasting first then slice your model. Most likely won't crash... I've already submitted a bug report to the S3D team. Yes I almost always have coasting enabled, and sometimes wipe. That may be a workaround, howe...

V5 Crashing On Clicking Prepare To Print

I have upgraded from v4 which was always very stable. Crashes were rare. Now with v5, it crashes very often on Clicking Prepare To Print. It happens randomly with many models. The program simply closes. The only way to safeguard this is I must save a factory file often and reopen it to prepare to pr...

Re: Ironing

you can already do this with s3d, I did it few times, create another process on top of the final layer that's 0.1 or 0.05mm off the top, set for that process 0.1 or 0.05mm layer and reduce extrusion multiplier a lot (you can even increase the temp) and that's it .. that process will do the ironing ...

Re: Monotonic Top/Bottom infill

We are certainly tracking these requests closely, so we will be interested to see how many users want this feature. Looks like there already almost 10 requests in this thread alone. Jason, please add me to the user who really wants monotonic infill on the top layer! Also ironing! These have been pr...
