To print directly on glass or aluminium with PLA, smear a thick layer of Elmer's washable glue stick or even generic liquid white glue. I did accomplish this inadvertently. Try exporting stl from the preview tab after PREPARE. If you delete the model, supports alone will be saved within the STL.

I'm preparing ZB mesh for shapeways. Its a nice clean quad msh using zmesher retopo, trangulated to 240K. Needs ability to scale models by % of original AND specific dimension. Key for applying same scaling factor while maintaining interchangeability & fit of parts & kit.
