There were corrections in release v4.0.1 addressing issues with layer interfaces when using multiple processes.
I re-installed S3D from a fresh download today and the problem persisted.

[FIXED] multiple processes leading to 2 layers at same z, z skip, and skipped support material

So I am currently encountering an issue where when I go from one process to the next it prints two different layers at the same z (as can be seen in the attached compressed photos for layer 6-layer 7, as well as layer 68-69 and 80-81) this behavior did not occur between layer 46 and layer 47, howeve...

please give separate mass estimates when using multiple extruders

it would make it easier to estimate if you have enough filament left on the spool.

could we get a setting to specify the true zero for z?

So, on the Raise 3d N2 plus, when the bed "zeros" it uses a set screw that is typically calibrated to .2 mm above the bed to avoid accidental contact. But as I understand it, S3D treats that as the actual bed height, which can affect first layer adhesion. Could we please get a setting that...

Re: issue with thin angled curved walls

for anyone still following this, I resolved the problem by dropping the layer height to .1 mm. unfortunately, I was restricted to either .2 or .1 mm layer heights by the fact that the walls were at .8mm wide and tall and were at 45 degrees, so the wall height needed to be a multiple of the layer hei...

Is it possible to change the order of certain lines in a layer?

so, I am having a particular issue which I previously posted about here https://forum.simplify3d.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=9941 I think I found the root cause, but I cant' figure out how to fix it. if you take the two attached gcode files and run them line by line you will see that when it starts ...

Re: issue with thin angled curved walls

it is the plastic that should be the wall, it isn't a retraction issue.

Re: issue with thin angled curved walls

the wall is basically a cone with the tip cut off separated by 4 vertical walls, the other 3 90 degree segments don't have this issue and they are identical. The entire part was formed in Solidworks with a revolve for the cones and outer circular wall and an extrusion for the vertical walls (except ...

issue with thin angled curved walls

so for some reason, I keep getting an issue where the walls on my parts aren't printing properly as can be seen here IMG_20180419_125548490.jpg I am printing in ABS on a Raise 3d n2 plus, the odd thing (at least to me) is that this only occurs on one of the four segments, at first I thought that rot...

Re: Angled supports

I don't know if this exactly what the OP was talking about but here is an stl for a part that I tried to print a while back, the cone angles are 75 degrees so they need support, but that support doesn't need to come all the way from the previous cone.
