prime tower infill setting

Use Case: I am printing with PLA in extruder 0 and PVA in extruder 1. I have my retraction settings working quite well and I'm using a combination of a skirt and the prime tower to guarantee the first layer of the prime tower is fully extruded. I don't need much of a prime tower. My smaller prints g...

Re: Extruder Calibration

Not sure which firmware that printer uses. But in Marlin for example, the adjustment can be done in g-code and even saved to EPROM from g-code. All you're looking to do is adjust the steps per MM for the extruder motor and hopefully save it to EPROM. The marlin documentation explains: http://marlinf...

Re: cull prime pillar

This cull can and should be a checkbox. I understand that I can effectively hack it on a per print basis. For that matter, I could write my own g-code post processor if I wanted to. But that doesn’t negate the feature request.

cull prime pillar

Use case: I'm printing PLA in extruder 0 and PVA in extruder 1. I use the PVA exclusively for soluble supports. When I print with a Primer Pillar, it does a great job of alternating the extruders and priming them on the pillar. However, the pillar is taller than it needs to be in many cases as less ...

Separate Horizontal Offset for Support and Dense Support

Use Case: I am printing with PLA in extruder 0 and PVA in extruder 1. I am trying to reduce print costs by using the PLA for the support and the PVA only for the Dense Support. Which is something suggested in one of your support videos. As PVA is soluble, I'd like to have zero distance between it an...

raft base layer extruder separate form raft top layer

Use case: I have a printer with a buildtack print surface and dual extruders. I'm loading PLA in extruder 0 and PVA in extruder 1. PLA sticks to buildtack great. But PVA doesn't stick at all. However, PVA sticks to PLA. Current usage: I'm printing a raft of PLA under my PLA model and PVA support. Th...
