Re: Material Settings is just wrong.

And that is where you are wrong. There is no need for separate profiles for every printer and material. I own two printers and have exactly one (1) profile for each. In that profile I just can change layer thickness, and materials and all other related settings change automatically with it. So ever...

Re: File naming convention

Better yet an excel like spreadsheet option within the software to list and organize the profiles and pick from or something. Where they are sorted in an way that makes sense, like starting with the printer and then once you select that everything else I am starting to figure out a way to organize t...

We need tuning wizards

Tuning wizards and models to dial everything in with a nice step by step guided quick approach. Kissslicer has something like this..... Once you get your printer setup, it would be nice if there was a step by step guide, tuning wizards, and models to work through to dial in each filament to perfecti...

Re: Profiles saved in the form of .ini files or similar

Why would you want all your processes tied to one part? Some people, like me, rarely print the same thing twice. So the factory file is never to be used again. Within the program needs to be more organized for selections. I think many people are not printing the same thing over and over again. I am ...

Re: Request to re-organize settings

This is very annoying to me as well. I hate the way all the information is stored and organized. It makes it impossible to actually organize and keep track of. I have had this program a while now and pretty much use it exclusively for multiple printers and still have not figured out how to keep it o...

Re: Triangle Infill

I've used triangle infill successfully. The suggestion I gave earlier (Lower infill extrusion width %) is what I've personally used to not get stuttering or noise. I do see how this would help. So there is less plastic to overcome during the collisions :) I wonder if the S3D programmers could form ...

Re: Triangle Infill

You guys are giving bad advice here. The lines are not printing on the layer above. All 3 sets of angled lines to form full triangles are on the same level and they intersect each other. Please try this before you give advice. This has nothing to do with extrusion rate. The only way I see to not hav...

Re: Triangle Infill

must calibrate extrusion rate This has nothing to do with extrusion rate. It is intersecting 3 lines on the same layer. The extrusion rate is correct. The only way I see around this if you want to use triangle infill is to make it print each side of the triangle pattern on different layers. So, it ...

Re: Triangle Infill

I have the same problem. This really bounces things around and makes some racket. It does not seem good for things. On a big print I think there is potential to lose steps if it hangs up.
What is the proper way to set up triangular infill?

Re: Modify printer model

This does not seem to work in version 4. The thing you say to edit is already set that way. Reopening the software results in the bed model being gone.
