Re: Scaling on surface

If the "scaling" is on the side that touches the bed, your nozzle is ever so slightly too close to your bed. Increase the distance and that'll go away.

Re: What stepper mtor do you guys use for 3D Printer?

Moons' makes great steppers. I've switched most of my steppers to moons' since they're very well built, quieter, accurate, and have less vibration than most. On most desktop printers, you won't find anything but nema 17's, which can do the job fine. Ultimaker also uses Moons'. https://www.moonsindus...

Re: Warping issue

@Sbstudios You have quite a lot of other issues going on with your print besides just warping. You seem to be having retraction, extrusion and temperature issues. Most of what I'm seeing can be pinpointed and worked out with S3D's comprehensive troubleshooting guide: https://www.simplify3d.com/suppo...

Re: Add BL-Touch as an option for G-Code

@V1RU5

S3D has a "starting script" area to put your probe gcode. It's just as easy as cura.

Re: Perimeter walls not connecting

Sounds like you might be under-extruding significantly. Ensure your nozzle diameter in S3D is correct(not extrusion width), as well the filament diameter is correct. If that doesn't help, increase your extrusion multiplier by 0.05 intervals and see if anything happens(0.9-1.0 is a good starting grou...

Re: connect simplify3d to my duet web control

@JoelHein89 I should have been more clear in my previous post. S3D doesn't natively support duet WiFi/Ethernet printing. There are work arounds to get it to semi-work though. You can use curl like Mogal said, but you may need to install curl depending on what OS you're on. Even when uploading from S...

Re: connect simplify3d to my duet web control

You can't directly upload gcode from S3D to the duet by itself. You're best off just exporting the gcode from S3D and uploading it via duets web interface.

Re: Monoprice MP Select Mini Pro

It looks like you should be able to use the Monoprice MP Select Mini profile with the pro, without any issues. If it runs with Cura(like it says), it should run with S3D.

Re: sequential printing

Your best bet is to use Cura for sequential printing. I think Sli3r and Slic3r PE has that functionality too if you want to give it a go.
