Netfabb has a great 2D build plate packer for situations like this. With it, I've been able to pack more parts on my build plate than imaginable. If you don't have access to it and want to pack a lot of these clips, send me a PM and I could help pack them with it.
Remove the text and it should go away. I almost never use concentric due to side effects like this with detailed geometry. Your best bet is to stick to rectilinear.
Looking better! There's still a bit of a defect in the letters where the blob was, but with that geometry/overhang it'll probably never be perfect. I'm sure with more tuning in S3D(cooling, retraction, etc), you could probably manage to get it to look as good as cura.
The top layer definitely looks over extruded. As for the "blobs" on the X and Y letters, it's almost impossible to eliminate with the overhang geometry. Raise your bed to nozzle gap and cool off your heated bed a little to reduce your elephant foot.
USB has a higher risk of failure but in the 3 years of USB printing on one of my printers, I've never had one issue. As long as your PC doesn't go to sleep, shut off, or get bogged down too much, you shouldn't have any problems. If you have multiple printers going at once, you'll of course want to u...
@deutchbag I’m in the same boat as you. I will definitely buy it if I see enough features. Heck, I’d re-buy S3D if we received a good enough update. Nice name BTW At this point, I’m skeptical on this V5 with the history of updates and unprofessionalism by S3D. What I don’t think they understand is m...
