Re: Saving processes?

To keep it simple, I save factory files for everything I print, once I have it correct. This way if I want to print the same thing again, say it is 12 bushings I had set up for one print job, I just load the factory file and assuming same filament and it is well made and stable in diameter, same noz...

Re: Same gcode with .5 and .35 Nozzles

I can not answer that but if you did not change the extrusion width from .4 that may explain it. I have attached a factory file with 2 calibration parts. One is a 2 walled square designed to print at .3 layer height and .55 extrusion width. This is used to check the starting height of the nozzle for...

Re: Same gcode with .5 and .35 Nozzles

With makegear they are using manual extrusion width. With the .5 nozzle you would want to set that to .5 to .55 or choose auto. I am using an older version 4.01 of S3D which does not suffer the number of bugs in the current version but I don't think that is the issue. You may also need to alter the ...

Re: Unselected models print

That is the intended behavior. That just hides the model, not real useful.
You need to open the process and on the bottom of the first tab is a button to select the model, all are selected by default, only select the models you want to print.

Re: Need a start-script/advice

Maybe this is just printer specific as I believe this is in the default profile for the M2, but this is how mine primes and have never had any issues. G28 ; home all axes G1 Y50 Z0.3 F9600 ; move forward to avoid binder clips G1 X205 Z10 ; move off platform G1 Z0.4 ; position nozzle G92 E0 ; zero ex...

Re: Extruder Temperature Issues on a XYZPrinter Da Vinci 1.0 Pro

You can edit your gcode with word pad and search for M104 So the below code says M140 S70 ; Heat Bed to 70C M190 S70 ; Wait for bed to get to 70 before starting to heat the extruder M104 S215 T0 ; Heat Extruder T0 to 215C M109 S215 T0 ; Wait until Extruder is 215 C before starting to print. The temp...

Re: Version 5 Announcement

I am excited. I'm appalled... The lack of ANY concrete information about all the the wonderful new features is really pathetic. I'm REALLY tired of being strung along month after month. Time to see if I can get Cura to run my machine. Check out Prusaslicer I got that working really well in one afte...

Re: Suggestion on settings by comparing 2 prints from different slicers

I would guess that it is not a slicer issue but a hardware issue... but thats just a guess as I can't think of any setting that would do that, looks more mechanical that slicer error.. If you are not printing them at the same speed then it isn't really much of a comparison.
