Re: Small-scale printing recomendations

for D&D I found PLA worked better than ABS. Set you speed at 1800mmM or slower 1200mm/M would be ok as well. you only need 2 top 2 bottom and 2 shell layers. Set up supports is another story.. I will send you a link to some Factory D&D files I have printed when I get home this weekend. I printed abo...

Re: Supports keep falling over

The skirt will be one layer high if you enter those values and be around the first layer of everything touching the build plate. You will need to cut/break it off the part but it will not take all day to build like a raft does.

Re: Problem with Holes in PETG

what is your main speed set to. I never go over 45mms for large models and 35mmS for small stuff sometimes even 30. If this small part is a stand alone piece you can tray a skirt.. On the additions tab set the distance from part to 0 and try 2 or 3 outlines with one layer. You will have to cut this ...

Re: Simultaneous heating of the bed and extruder.

If you want the print to start before the bed is hot, uncheck the box on the temperature tab. Some times with ABS I will turn the bed heater on while I am prepping the model as it takes 20 minutes to reach 110C.. this is why they don't go on at the same time.. your filament would be cooked to death ...
