Re: Raft adheres to print after moving to V4

I never use rafts but I have an enclosure and use polymide tape on the bed. ABS sticks very well. When I have to print something really small that may come loose I use a brim. Choose the skirt option use 6 skit outline and make the distance .03mm from the part. You may need to experiment with this s...

Re: Change noozle size inside a same print?

Not really feasible The better option is to split the part into 2 separate part so they can be printed and then glued together. The only reason to go with a larger nozzle is so you can use larger layer height to get faster prints. the difference in extrusion width will not make much difference in pr...

Re: Micro Z height adjustment while printing

do you have a bionic eye? How can you make it perfect without measuring the thickness of the layer. There is already a z offset in S3D you can use if you don't have the ability to configure your z offset in the firmware. Print a calibrations model and adjust the z offset in S3D so it is the model pr...

Re: STL Files for Temperature Bracketing

Zemlin: Very slick (as usual)! Do you use an particular infill and/or wall thickness? I've been trying to come up with calibration/tuning parts for different slicer settings, and these will get added to my collection. For example, while printing single wall calibration cubes to set my extrusion mul...

Re: Editing multiple processes simultaneously

There is some documentation on grouping process.. thing to remember is all settings that are the SAME when you group them will remain the same when you change it on any process. Any setting that was Different between process will not be connected and you will need to alter those in each process shou...

Re: settings question

Never have had to do anything like that, but you could set the main speed for the inner perimeter, set the outer to 100% then set the infill to 300% or something that gets you want you want for the speed of the infill The infill speed is the default speed and there is no percentage modifier for inf...

Re: USB Vz SD Card

Yes, all your slicing is done in S3d and you just run your code with OP. OP can slice using cura but never have I bothered since it is on a pi and I don't like cura.

Re: USB Vz SD Card

The work flow with octoprint is Slice with s3d save to local disk on your pc. Ocotprint provides a browser interface over network From Octoprint interface upload file from PC, print.. OP has control interface to set temp, change filament and enter gcode same as S3D. If you have the skills set it up....
