Re: Printing ABS Help

Don't have time to extract pics but your temp is way to high.. try 235 and see if things don't improve.. Printer should be enclosed with and internal temp of at least 50C Bed should be 110C , no fan and remember ABS shrinks a lot when it cools.. holes need to be over sized if they have to fit with a...

Re: Settings for printing tpu or ninjaflex

for least amount of frustration, and a chance at success, a ,5mm nozzle is the minimum I will use and I prefer the .75 on my makergear. I have attached a factory file of a door stop bumper I modeled and fabricated in NF . This uses the .75 nozzle .. NF Door Bumper Final with supports works nice.fact...

Re: Elephant Foot Compensation

The feature you wish is there.. Z offset. It will crush the first layer and put the second one on top without squishing it..

Re: Elephant Foot Compensation

Why do you have elephant foot to begin with? Answer, you did not set your printer up for the correct Z offset for current layer height being printed. Why, maybe the manufacture does not tell you how or the printer is not accurate enough to maintain an accurate Z offset across the bed, so over compre...

Re: Elephant Foot Compensation

you can do that with the Z offset.. same thing .. Elephant foot is caused by an incorrect setting of the Z offset (distance between the nozzle and bed during the first layer. The nozzle is too close to the bed for the layer height chosen.

Re: different extrusion widths

I was under the impression that nozzle size kind of dictated the extrusion width. How do you expect to go from .38 to .6 using one nozzle? This would require a .5 physical nozzle which would typically use and extrusion width of .5 to .62. Using a width less then the physical opening has never worked...

Re: Top Layer Incomplete BEFORE Printing

the other thing is you may nave the preview limited to only displaying so many layers.
Look at the botom of the preview there is a box that if checked will only show the number of lines or layers entered..

Re: Top Layer Incomplete BEFORE Printing

Not sure what I a looking at, but if the model is only printing to a certain height and stopping, check your processes advanced tab and make sure there is no check mark in stop printing at height (top left)

Re: Need your help on this print. Please

On the last tab there is a section (at least in my older version) for "Single Extrusions" There is a variable call Minimum Extrude length, set that to .01 if is is not already. I assume this will do nothing since I think this setting would a measurement from the start to end point but is worth looki...
