Re: Increase Overlap Of Perimeter Extrusions

To start with, if you increase the overlap too much you part will not be the size it should be. The goal is to have all parts the exact size of the model. I can not see what that part is or what size nozzle you are using, but I have never used 5 perimeters for anything. If that area you are looking ...

Re: Trouble Above Supports

-upper vertical separation layers: 3
-lower vertical separation layers: 5

Change lower to 0 and upper to 1 and see if that helps.. Those numbers are the number lf layers to leave as space between the buildplate or part at the bottom and top of the support

Re: Script is not working in second process

I "think" the second process starts at layer 0 For example if your layer height is .5 mm than at layer 50 your would be at 25mm If your second process starts at 10 mm then your color change in process 2 would need to be Layer 30 of process 2 . 50 - 20 already printed in process1 leaving 30...

Re: [Off-topic] Some help would be nice.

If you are in the US, your insurance may pay for part of the price. You can contact them and they will point you to the preferred installer. If you want to pay for it outright go to safelite.com and get a free quote. They can come to your house or place of business and do the job. If you are in Euro...

Re: second layer without cooling time by multiple parts

not sure what you mean exactly, but I think you want the parts to do one layer each.. put them in a circle if you can..

Re: Smooth Transition between Vase mode and Non vase mode Print

I mix the 2 modes in one model but the model is 100% sold where vase used and not where normal mode is.
See attached flower pot.

Re: Smooth Transition between Vase mode and Non vase mode Print

As has been posted many time and is documented, Vase mode requires a solid model.. This means no open center.

Re: Vase Mode toolpaths

Create the model solid. if you have the need to say put a hole in the bottom like a flower pot, model it in such a way you can split the model into 2 process and have one that prints the bottom and the second as vase with 0 bottom layers to print the rest. If you have walls with any hollow inside, v...

Re: How to use script to move up Z at specific layer??

sounds like your nozzle is too close to the build plate to start or you are way over extruded. I only see this on my machine when I am over extruding as my starting height is always calibrated correctly. Could be short coming of your particular machine if the bed is not flat with .02 mm you could ha...
