Re: Anet A8-M

My main issue at the moment is that I cannot get S3D to communicate with the printer. I attached the problem I am having trying to connect it.

Re: Support Structures Similar To Meshmixer

Sorry I posted! I was only trying to be helpful...… I won't bother next time. My reply was meant to be mean in anyway, the way you worded your reply made it sound like you stopped midway through my comment. My point still stands though, S3D NEEDS better support structures, preferably similar...

Re: Support Structures Similar To Meshmixer

The issue i'm having at the moment is when I move the model from Meshmixer to S3D it adds gaps in the support structures for whatever reason. I've read that using the "Separate Connected Surfaces" fixes this, Why not try it, then! And I agree that the support structure could do with a hel...

Support Structures Similar To Meshmixer

Lets face it, supports are a pain sometimes. I've had issues with supports ever since I have been printing (about a year now). I recently installed Meshmixer and their supports are completely different from what S3D uses. Meshmixer's supports are like pillars that branch off to other parts of the pr...

Re: S3D Stops Responding

Please disregard this post. I found out what was wrong. If anyone else is having this issue, S3D is still running, Windows just things it has stopped. Let it sit for a while and it will continue.

S3D Stops Responding

This always happens when I select "separate connected surfaces" from my model. I used Meshmixer to generate my supports for my model and imported the .stl file into S3D to print. The initial issue I was having was S3D was adding gaps into these supports, when looking online they said "...

Need Help with Print Quality

I have been trying to print with "Decent" quality but I fail to get it every time. I am attaching a couple pictures of the print along with my .FFF file in an attempt to help with suggestions on this.

Re: X and Y Axis is Off

I'm sure it is a firmware issue, but control with attached factory-file the settings of S3D (probably not printable, depending of the distance of your nozzle to the bed! = 0,15 mm) Menue FILE, Open Factory ... to switch back it needs you also save your actually factory-file or deactivate Save &...

Re: X and Y Axis is Off

I think I know the issue. I upgraded the print head to the E3dv6 with the titan extruder and it came with a mount for it that moves the print head over about an inch (found this out by homing everything to "0" and seeing where the hotend was). Next question.... How do I go about updating i...
