Re: MAC (M1 Prozessor, 8GB RAM) bad operating behavior after slicing

Which processes did you select? Many of those processes are just printing the same region twice, so you definitely wouldn't want to select all of them since that would just make the preview slower for no reason (imagine drawing the same thing 5x, that just makes it 5x slower). Selecting any single ...

Stock MacBook Air, 15-inch, M2, 2023, MacOS 14.2.1. Nothing custom in terms of hardware or software.

Here's another with the same behavior:

Re: MAC (M1 Prozessor, 8GB RAM) bad operating behavior after slicing

It happens on my M2 / 16GB machine. Slow rendering in Preview Mode. Example attached of a typical part.

Re: V5.1 crashes, MacOS 12.6.5

Hi, I downloaded your profiles and tried to open them. I have tried to slice them, play with some parameter, but it is working on my Mac well (S3D v5.1). Could you describe your workflow so I can test it for you on my Mac aswell to reproduce it? (I am using Mac Mini M1, OSX Ventura 13.3.1) BTW: Sim...

[FIXED] V5.1 crashes, MacOS 12.6.5

I haven't really experienced crashes previously. I use 4 processes for these parts - bottom, bottom-2, diaphragm, top. Making some changes to the processes -layers, perimeters, infills, etc - and wasn't having a problem with one model (4inch...). But then removed that and tried a different model (6i...

Re: different values for external vs internal perimeters

Just checking, as I could still use this. As a super-simple example, I'd like 3 perimeters for the central hole, but only 1 perimeter for the external shell. Thanks for any input!

Re: aligned seam

Move you part back toward the back of the bed some or to the left some. That does it! The model can't be centered. Moving it even 0.01mm from center (X or Y) forces it to choose an edge. This seems similar to my previous post, raft top layer orientation , where model positioning needs to be used to...

aligned seam

I haven't been able to get an aligned seam on my parts with S3D. (In PrusaSlicer, Seam / Seam position Aligned does the trick.) However, I recently did, but apparently some setting or combination of settings has changed. I've gone through the gcode file line by line and matched up the settings, but ...

Re: Import Directory

I think you can already make that change by going to Tools > Options, and then changing the "File Selection Behavior" to "Remember a unique directory for each separate file type". Then it will remember a separate directory for models vs gcode files. Thanks - that works! (on Mac,...
