Re: Diamond 3 colour mixing hot end support

Any news about colour blending? Are you referring to mixing or gradient transitions? Mixing (at least with Repetier) is shown here: https://forum.simplify3d.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=6565 That's a kludge, not a baked-in feature. I'd love to see the ability to define extruders with each having its own...

Re: Feature Request: Intelligent Auto-Arrange

I would welcome this feature as well, but only if you could control the rotation angles allowed. The setting for rotation angles could be similar to that used for infill directions.

Re: Multi Material Printing - use color purge as infill

I'll add my vote. I have an M3D Promega with a compound extruder (two filament feeds, one nozzle) and I have an M3D Crane Quad on the way that will allow CMY{K|W|T} mixing. Both would greatly benefit from the ability to use infill for color purging. It wouldn't eliminate the need for a priming tower...

Re: Delete option when using auto support

You can do that now. The manual supports dialog also includes deleting auto supports as well as manual supports you may have added inadvertently.

API for plugins - M3D Promega MELT

The MELT plugin to Cura allows you to print with color gradients. It relies on Cura's plugin architecture. I'm sure that community would be more than glad to produce a S3D plugin if a plugin system were implemented.

Re: Gaps in supports

Looks like a bug. I had one profile without the gaps and the parameter that made the difference was the first layer height in the Layer tab. If I set it to 90%, the gaps are there; if I set it to 91% or above, they aren't. The problematic profile had it set to 90%.

Re: IF commands

+1 I really would like to see IF-THEN-ELSE as well. This would make the software be able to go through a decision tree, and make the printer do certain specific actions. Something like: IF first layer = true , THEN always retract, ELSE only retract when crossing open spaces. That would actually be ...

[FIXED] Gaps in supports - bug with workaround

I'm having an issue with two single-layer gaps in supports for a model I'm slicing, as can be seen below

I have attached the factory file. Any ideas?

Thanks.

Re: Script 'Start Code' not running when expected.

Add the chamber heater as a temperature controller in the Temperature tab. Make sure it's the first item in the list.

Re: Program ignores revolve feature

Does is show up OK when you set up the print but disappear when you slice it? It's possible the design program created two or more meshes. With S3D, you have to explicitly tell it to look for multiple meshes with the Separate Connected Surfaces menu item.
