Re: Print two halfs

Another option is to load the model into an application like Meshmixer and do a plane cut on it. Export the two halves.

Re: Issue with nozzle dragging across print to next print spot...

Try 0.5mm or even 1mm on the vertical lift. YMMV depending on the type of filament you're using though. I find PETG to be very oozy, so it's difficult to get an unblemished layer when the head has to move a long distance, regardless of the retraction settings.

Re: Ender 3 Pro Wipe problem hit glass bed clips

What clips are you using? If binder clips, there are better options that take up less edge space. I use these with the glass bed on my M3D Crane Quad and can use practically all of the available surface: https://www.ebay.com/itm/EIGHT-SWISS-D-CLIPS-FRAMELESS-PICTURE-MOUNTS-MAX-THICKNESS-10mm-FIXING/...

That was my first though as well. PLA typically prints best around 200C, sometimes as far down as 190C.

Re: select objects not to print

hello. what is the advantage of doing this? or is it just a workflow preference thing? thanks. It allows you to create a factory file for all components of a design. If you only want to print certain components, for example because you broke one during assembly, you can either delete the unwanted c...

Re: Version 5 Announcement

Whoever wrote that update would make a good politician: use a lot of words but don't really say anything that wasn't already known.

If you've identified over 70 customer-requested features being implemented, how hard is it to just list them?

Re: Finally found the caused of so many bad prints??

Drop to Bed has never adjusted angles of an object. Where it does come in handy is if you're manually rotating an object such that it ends up embedded in the build plate. In that case, Drop to Bed will "lift" the object to the top of the build plate without rotating it further. Also, there are many ...
