it was a bad model with some wonky triangles, i cleaned up the model and the bad slices went away

i was having that problem when i had merge all outlines into a single solid model selected, FFF Settings > >Advanced / Slicing Behavior

what do you think would be causing these strange gaps in my layers, half the model has the layer, although the speed drops down to low, but the other half of the model there are only gaps. the gaps dont show on the model itself when preview mode is not on. no preview.PNG gaps2.PNG gaps.PNG i went ah...
