Re: On the fly extruder adjustments

Please see the quoted text below from the popular thread discussing this exact request: ...we are certainly interested in seeing how popular this request is to know if it should be included. In the meantime, you can still adjust the flow rate using the Communication tab on the machine control panel....

Re: Licence V4 to V5

- That I could'nt upgrade my two V4 licenced computers simultaneously to V5 - V5 has an entirely new licensing system compared to V4. There are options for floating and offline licenses, in addition to improvements in managing and deploying the licenses. For all of the V5 license types you can only...

Re: Stuttering curves on Makerbot Replicator Z18

I've seen this issue before on other MakerBot machines from around the same release period. I'd suggest reducing the complexity of the mesh. Whats causing this is the printing instructions are more closely following the coordinates supplied by the STL or model file. So in essence Simplify3D's supply...

Re: Internal thin wall type - I want more than one type...?

I would try the following:

1. increase the number of perimeters
2. enable external single extrusions
3. set internal thin walls to use gap-fill

Re: Failed to execute post processing commands.

You can try saving your g-code file to a local hard drive location such as your user's desktop. Then after it's been saved move it to a flash drive or SD card.

Re: Tip of the Day 2- Save time, faster print settings

Thanks for the suggestions. I will use these. I do have another question. How does Simplify3d pick which next feature to print? It seems that there is a lot of wasted time for traveling way over to one side of a print and not right next to the spot it was just print. Is there a setting to determine...

Re: general question: z-offsets from bltouch generated mesh not working

Thanks for joining the Simplify3D forum. Are you still having issues with your flow rate? If you performed hardware changes on your extruder's assembly you may wish to make sure that your set temperatures are still being reached. A reduction in hotend temperature would make it much more difficult to...

Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Simplify3D

Additional storage is used in the "working directory" at:

Re: print speed updates in every material?

It is now 2022, 5 years from when this thread started and from what I can tell this issue has not been addressed. Causes confusion in my shop on a daily basis. Don't really understand why any other improvements would be prioritized over being able to save your settings in a simple way... That is pu...
