Re: Brim and Skirts Woefully Under Extruded

Did the OP resolve this problem ? I have a similar one. Brims are printing the right thickness in Z (0.3mm in this case) but the lines are thin width wise and not touching each other in sections (so the brim is not functional), but the first layer of the print object goes down fine and maybe even sl...

Re: Intamsys Funmat HT users

I got the chamber to work with a script now If I run directly from simplify I cannot manually change parameters only if I upload to the SD card? Regards Does that wait for the printer chamber to come up to the chamber temp set point, or just set the temp and go straight to heating the bed without w...

Re: Intamsys Funmat HT users
Can you share the S3D and Slicer profiles ?
No, I'm not able to access the printer as I'm far away from it now for quite some time. The basics are what's going to make a big difference though... Post your profile if you want and I'll see if anything looks way different from what I ...

Re: Intamsys Funmat HT users

For info. I'm mainly now using poly carbonate filament (PC) with this printer now and getting quite good results. I've tweaked settings quite a lot to get good strength and still have good detail on small features. I found the biggest improvement was to run the extruder fan full time, at 50%. I thou...

Re: Intamsys Funmat HT users

Has anyone got the heated chamber to work with the Funmat HT with Simplify? Not with S3D. I can get it to work in Slicer, but not to preheat before printing, only sets chamber heating after the bed gets to it's set point. To warm the whole cabinet I still manually start chamber heating 20 minutes b...

Re: Intamsys Funmat HT users

My starting profile came from the shop I purchased the printer from who also sell S3D (licenced).
I doubt S3D have a profile for this printer ?

Force the Bridging feature setting for any layer

Since S3D does not always automatically use bridging speeds and flow where experience tells me it's required on the model, I'd like to be able to force a layer to be sliced as a 'bridging layer' manually.

Re: Intamsys Funmat HT users

Either of you guys have a good profile for all of these advanced materials with this printer? I might get one based off of it's proposed ability to handle these harder to print with materials. I'm still finding out best settings myself. The shop I bought the printer from have some very very good te...

Re: Intamsys Funmat HT users

Hi, I've got a funmat and just started using simplify3d for the first time. Having some issues, number one is that it's printing the z-axis in the wrong direction (i.e. the layer height decreases instead of increases). Is that an obvious setting? Are there any preset profiles available that work? C...

Re: Bridging fan speed override not working ?

Thanks,
There are sometimes reasons for me to build a hollow box with no infill, and I won't debate that reason online. I used to do it regularly for projects using free Slic3r PE though, and just expected the paid app to do same or better.
