I've come across a strange issue where specifying the prime pillar extruder as Right Extruder only causes the pillar to be printed once per feature instead of once per line. As can be seen in the attached test case during the Left Extruder potion the pillar is printed correctly, but once it reaches ...
The current behavior of perimeter random start points is causing us print quality issues when using our large diameter nozzles (0.8mm / 1.2mm). The problem is it's placing the inner and outer perimeter start point too far away from each other, which due to oozing causes a noticeable gap on the start...
Thanks for the suggestion, however our printer's maximum Z height is 1800mm so sending the head all the way up and back down takes a very long time! At any rate it seems like the kind of thing that Simplify3D should add to the generated gcode (or at least warned about in the Multi-Part Printing guid...
Yes we're running version 4.0.1 I've created a factory file that reliably reproduces the issue by placing the first part at the origin, in fact the preview clearly shows the nozzle embedded in the first part on completion :) Obviously we've not actually been placing tall parts right at the origin, h...
I've just had an issue when sequential printing objects of different heights - the shorter object was completed last and on completion it homed the print head at its current z height and crashed straight into the taller object leaving a mark on the print and almost breaking the printer's fan shroud....
There is an issue with the camera movement where whenever the view is rotated the camera creeps downwards. This happens especially when making slow movements, so if I'm slowly rotating around a model to check things like supports or the gcode preview it quickly starts to disappear off the top of the...
We use a Builder Extreme printer which has a large bed (700mm square) and uses large nozzles (0.8mm - 1.2mm) for big prints. We've found that the support generation in S3D often can't handle large parts with complex details: At fine resolution generation (default 2mm) it creates lots of small indivi...
