Infill instead of or in addition to prime pillar

I have a Prusa MK3 with the new multi-material upgrade, supporting 5 feeds. The default software for the Prusa includes a great option to let you print the primary part infill using what would normally end up on a priming pillar. I was hoping that option would be present in Simplify3D with the new M...

Exclude element mid-print

When printing a whole bunch of items together (like a batch of 18 or 28mm figures), it would be nice to be able to pause the print and remove one of the items, and then resume. This is to prevent further printing of that part after it gets messed up, falls over, etc. I assume the whole job ends up a...

Re: Multi Material Printing - use color purge as infill

I would like to see this as well. My Prusa multi-material upgrade is coming near the end of the year. At that time, for any print where there's a fair bit of infill and multiple colors, I'll have to start using the Prusa Slic3r instead of Simplify 3D if this feature doesn't make it in.

Better auto-generated support for hanging parts

This week, I've been printing a lot of little D&D characters for my son. As a result, I've realized that simplify 3d doesn't auto-generate support for dangling parts that otherwise pass the angle test. These are parts that when printed layer-by-layer, end up being printed over open air. For exam...

Contiguous raft

I often use a raft when printing PLA as my experience has shown it to be very helpful. However, it is most helpful when the raft is one big solid piece, no holes. The more solid and contiguous the raft is, the better adhesion I get. I would like an option to have a contiguous raft, so I don't have t...

Total elapsed printing time

The Machine Control Panel shows estimated remaining time in minutes, but not total elapsed time. I would like to see that for this specific print job, because I often forget to write down when the print started.

Thanks.

Applications can definitely do this. See SetThreadExecutionState
