Re: Inadequate release notes....

Yeah, I completely agree on this. From a certain point of view, it's even worse when you consider someone printing "rarely". At release it's like: "yay, I'll get better print quality for free" and then it becomes: "yay, the few time I have to print nowadays is spent solely o...

Re: Paid upgrade For 2019 upcoming Version 5.0

It's not like I don't understand. I use many costly software (way above 50k) but still this is very different. You have to compare the software you pay for, to what the other companies offer. I'm just saying that having to pay for a major release just one year after purchasing is quite annoying beca...

Re: Paid upgrade For 2019 upcoming Version 5.0

Yay, me too, bought on october 2018 and would be rather annoyed to see an eventual fee for the 5.0 release. If that will be the case I will consider having bought S3D a straight up "bad investement". Otherwise I would say it is actually a good investement since the software IS actually goo...

Re: Start Script and how to stop Gcode input

Yes I have checked all the tabs but those settings are not in any of them ?? stumped at moment Have you checked you are using the right firmware flavor? If yes try to look in the settings (don't remember where it is) for the gcode building settings which should be the real slice to gcode translator...

Re: Raise Pro Plus 2 starting code

Raise starting code is good becase filament is cut on start by bed mounting screw. Good idea anyway. But with Simplify starting is quite different. Technically you should be able to do whatever you what with Simplify3D and any other slicer too. Just try to replicate the starting GCODE of ideamaker ...

Re: Start Script and how to stop Gcode input

Have you checked all the scripting tabs in S3D?

S3D could be adding those lines because you have entered those lines in the GCODE start tab, in the extruder tab or somewhere else.

Raise3D Pro Plus 2 wrote: Thu Oct 25, 2018 3:10 am I want to change starting code for Raise Pro Plus 2. With Simplify 3D is different. How I can do it? Under G-code section?
No, you do it under the "Scripts" tab. You can then enter it in the "Starting Script" tab.

Re: Dissolvable Supports Help

I have a dual extruder Qidi Tech XPro and I’m having an issue printing with dissolvable filament. I’m using a built in setting in Simplyfy3D for printing with PVA and PLA at the same time. When the printer starts putting PLA on top of the PVA, the end result is the the bottom of the PLA doesn’t for...

Re: No Support Magical Setting?

I am trying to print some very small parts. Each part is printed on a small 4mm pin. The round base should be square, but it is not printing correctly since (I can only assume) it needs support. However, these are so small, I don't want/can't get support added. Notice the artifacts hanging below th...

Re: S3D Development Update...?

Funny how they also locked the update thread... ...What worries me is it is only "4.1" and not 5.0 which implies it is not that large an update or? Would love to see a feature list soon. Locking was probably for the best, but I do wonder how long this thread will stay unlocked for..? :D I...
