Re: First layer prints as infill pattern

I was thinking of Solid Layers Infill pattern. it is under infill tab. And it is set toConcentric. so when I set it back to recliner in preview it looks like a solid layer(s) again. Maybe that is your issue.

Re: First layer prints as infill pattern

Hi all, I am using the latest version of Simplify3D. I am tweaking upgrades to my printer and printing a calibration cube. the bottom layers are all printing as squares instead of the Recliner pattern. Most of my prints; the bottom layers are all printed with the recliner pattern. so I have 2 questi...

First layer speed; BUG?

Hi all, So, this is a question about first layer speed. You can set the first layer info as Absolute values or Percentage values. Lately I have been using Absolute values. I set the first layer speed to 20mm/s which should be quite slow. But it looks like it is running much faster than that value. I...

Re: Combining Walls & Infill

here is one of my .factory files... Thanks, the infill to the First wall is not the main issue it is combining 2 or more parameter/walls together that is the main issue. I don't know if this profile will show but I usually do Infill over lap at 50% for this exact issue. And how to print a "TOP ...

Re: Surfaces you can see should be printed slow, all else fast

There is a work-a-round. You can create multiple processes. This is pretty easy in Simplify3D. This might not be perfect but should work quite well. Therfore you would have around 4-5 different process. You have to determine the height in mm as a starting point and an end point for each process.

Combining Walls & Infill

The link is to a short video that explains my dilemma On how to get my outline perimeters/Walls to stick together or have infill between the Wall as shown in my video. because as I explain Walls are so much nicer than mostly infill. I don't know if I need to make each Wall wider/thicker? I am alread...

Re: Supports Question

But my last couple prints with default setting printed great just the way I wanted. Back to being mostly easy to remove. Also I think it is the orientation I am printing the object that helps. Also Try starting a new project and import your part. I don't know if that will help but I wondered if I wa...

Re: Supports Question

The only easy way I have found so far is to manually add supports.b Or would you call it easy?

BED Temp where to find it?

Hi,
I am using version 5. I tried starting a New project but under TEMPERATURE I can't find a setting for bed temp. All I see is Extruder Temp.

Thank You
