BNC3D Sigmax + S3D

Hi everyone, My company just acquired a Sigmax. I found a press release from 2016 that said something about a partnership between Simplify and BCN3D, saying that there would be special features for the Sigmax through Simplify...and then literally nothing. I'm assuming it was a business relationship ...

Re: Adding raft causes print to be .5mm tall after removing raft

Measured the step block I printed. Every z axis measurement is .4mm long with a raft, spot on without the raft. The Separation Distance in the raft settings is .4mm, so I'm guessing that the issue is coming from that setting. Is there anything we can do to fix that added height? IMG_20190129_0840410...

Re: Adding raft causes print to be .5mm tall after removing raft

I'll post an fff on monday when I get back to work. Also, I designed a z-axis calibration block, 7 steps with one at every 10mm. I'll be able to measure it Monday morning, will post results then.

My settings at home, that offset is .14mm, at work it's something like .35mm.

Whenever I/we print with a raft, the part ends up being about half a mm tall in the Z axis. If I print the part withou...

Re: We need tuning wizards

Agreed. I just went from PLA to PETG and there are things that need to be optimized, but I'm not 100% sure how to go about doing it. I paid for Simplify to...well, simplify things. It sure worked well for PLA, but taking the next step is more nebulous.
