Re: Volcano 0.8mm Nozzle on a CR-10 - Settings?

*** Update *** After your post I had a new inspiration to see what I could do to make a decent print, Feel free to continue the work. Firstly, switch your extrusion width to manual and adjust down to the the nozzle size. For a 0.4 nozzle, set it at 0.4. A 0.8 set it to 0.8 With the extrusion multipl...

Re: Volcano 0.8mm Nozzle on a CR-10 - Settings?

Hi DotScott1, I've got the exactly same issue using the volcano on a very expensive (>40K) printer. I've even dropped down to a 0.4 nozzle with similar results, better but no where near as good as my $500 CR-10s. I'm just about to post a Marvin in the hope someone might see something I could do to i...

Jammed filament at start of print

Dear All, Thanks for reading, hoping someone can help. I have an issue that originally thought it was happening at the end of a print but might be happening from the start! If I print something for more than 30 mins it will turn out great. Next print the extruder blocks. This is regardless if the ho...

Re: Recalling an existing G code .

Hi JE Designs,

I absolutely agree with Doug.

If you're using Microsoft it will open in Notepad and you'll see all the parameters that the printer will use to create the print.

Cheers,

Re: CAD Recommendation to use with S3D

Hi Frank, I use Fusion 360 on my Mac book Pro (2016) and it has no problems running it. Like a previous post it likes to be online and sometimes exporting an STL file out won't work unless you are online and I guess that's fine where most people will use it. Plenty of You Tube instructional videos a...

Re: Remain time of print LCD

Yes,

This would also be a great feature to have as I have used it on other machines (N2+) but my current machine AON M2 doesn't allow for it :(

Re: Infill Auto Density feature

Hi Tony,

Agreed, an auto function would be good.

I'm certainly no expert on Simplify3d I'd approach this situation by manually adding support inside your model. It's kind of like selective infill.

Cheers,

Print Quality from 0.7 Nozzle

Hi All, Thanks for the add. I'm having terrible issues with the print quality from a 0.7 nozzle on a AON M2! Whilst I have quite reasonable knowledge on 3D printers, the software I've previously used is Cura and Ideamaker, both using 0.4mm nozzles so I'm not sure what is the main cause. I'd apprecia...
