Where Is My Ooze Shield?

Why does the attached factory file not produce an ooze shield at all?

I had the same with prime pillar.

Best regards,
Niels

Process #2 starts too early.

Hi, I wanted to print a black piece with white text. For this I defined a custom zone from height 0 to 2 mm for the right nozzle (black, process #1) and a zone from 2 mm for the left nozzle (white, process #2). I defined extruder temperature for both nozzles. But: the printer only started raising th...

Two Color settings?

Hi,

I use a FlashForge Dreamer which has 2 nozzles.

I have not printed with 2 colors before.
Now I want to use black in the lower part and white at the top of a model.

How do I do this in S3D? Which settings?

Best regards,
Niels

Re: Printing stops.

Now, I tried to regenerate the gcode without any other change. Now it works.

Printing stops.

S3D Version 4.1.2. I am trying to print a simple nozzle. For some reason, printing stops about 1/4 into the model (after 6.2mm height exactly, 2 times). The printer (Flashforge Dreamer) goes back to rest position as if the job is finished. I attach the factory file. The gcode file is too big (3,6 Mb...

Re: Script line help?

Hi SD3-Jason > Try changing then last line to this: > G1 X-100 Y74 E20 F2000 ; extrude line along the left edge Thank you! It works partially. It extrudes a line along the left edge as wanted (too long for that edge, though). But afterwards it extrudes a very thin line very, very slowly diagonally t...

Script line help?

In Script, I have this:

G1 X90 Y-74 E24 F2000 ; Extrude a line of filament across the front edge of the bed

I would like to move this line of filament to the left edge of the bed.
What should the linhe look like?

Best regards,

Niels

Re: Things you've taken away in V5

I'm surprised that the company does not respond to those claims.

Re: Too big spaces in layers

Dear DrD Thank you so much for your kind reply. I changed the following: Global GCODE-offset Z: From 0.00 to 0.15 Extrusion multiplier: From 0.95 to 1.00 Infill outline overlap: From 20 to 30 %. That helped a lot. I think that I cannot expect the parallel strings to be completely connected, right? I...
