Re: Missing tools

Thank you very much. I have no idea how that got disabled, unless it is the default on a new install. I recently installed a SSHD and then did a clean install to get rid of the Windows install that was installed 10-15 years ago. It wasn't until I installed Simplify3d that I noticed all my Process Se...

Missing tools

I was doing some modifications to some items I was going to print from the setup screen a few weeks ago, but today I cannot seem to locate them, or to locate where there are some options to turn off or on, For example, using the "translate model" option I used to be able to move the item by putting ...

Re: outside edges not sticking

You need to increase your extrusion multiplier so you're putting out more material. I run a test part with an extrusion multiplier starting at 0.85 and going up to 1.05 every 3mm in height by using 20 different processes. Then I peel the skins off until I find where I'm getting bonds I can't separa...

outside edges not sticking

I am having an issue with the outside edges not sticking. The overall print is very good, even the edges that are not sticking are perfect in appearance. When the print is complete you can pull the vertically printed edges aware from the object itself. If I printed with 2 shells, I can take two indi...

supports printed at 45 degree angle

I am printing an object that has 2 large windows in 2 different walls. I simply enabled "supports" and then ran the print. The print was a fairly large job, projected to take 17 hours. I started the print job, watched it get about half way through the first layer to make sure it was looking good. I ...

Re: Feature request: an update to my software

Since v5 is still no where in site, can the developers not just take a couple of days to add the easy to code new features to the current version? For example, it would be great to be able to see why the print job just stopped dead while not showing "verbose" logging. Or maybe add a filter so the us...

Re: OK, Time to Start Yet Another "Where is Version 5? " Thread

I worked a long time at a software company that made fax and data modem sharing software. It was privately owned. They used tech support people to test the software, thinking it would be a good way for support to learn the new version. On paper it sounds great, in reality its not. Tech support peopl...

Re: Stop simplify3d to send M105 command

I realize this is an old question, but since it is likely the same version of Simplify3d it is still a current issue. The point that the OP is trying to convey is that it is only the software monitoring the extruder temps, the user does not care to see BOTH the command being sent, the reply coming b...

Re: Odd error messages - Unknown command: "M102"

That was it, oddly enough of the 20 some odd saved settings I have, that was the only one with that enabled, and this was the first time I ran it from the PC. When used from SD card I don't see the error messages in the TFT.

Thanks

Re: 150 dollar consumer sofwtware and no updates in over a year?

My at mobile bill is $35 a month for 6 phones include home internet. I use public transportation for $30 a month to get to work. Everyone has different prices and opportunities :D What country do you live in? In Toronto a monthly TTC pass for adults is $156.00, or essentially the cost of Simplify3d...
