With the ABS models I print, I always scale in the X/Y direction which makes up for the shrinkage. I use the Hoziontal Size Compensation setting to adjust my vertical hole sizes. You may want to investigate some of Natureworks Ingeo based resin PLA filaments. I haven't personally used any of these products but I recall reading some of Natureworks data sheets and the some of the data included test results with various organic solvents which indicated good compatibility.
