Help with inverted cone print

Hello, I have a Dremel 3D45 and I managed to print successfully many times in Dremel Nylon an inverted cone (even without raft). However now I'm testing other type of Nylon (Fiberlogy Nylon PA12) and I'm having a repetitive issue at the beginning of the print. No idea what you call this: IMG_8386.jp...

odd less filament deposit in one corner - Help!

Hello there, See attached photo, I have printed lots of this and I always get the same result (even after leveling and calibrating the bed). I have absolutely no idea why is doing that, any ideas? a_less filling.jpg It is a 3 bladed object and always one blade comes odd, the rest seem fine as per 2 ...

Re: internal layer fill rotor question

Thanks!

Your reply prompt me to have a deeper look, found the issue. It turned out that my rotor was 0.002mm off center in reference to other parts. This was making the slicer to add a bit more material in some areas.

Thanks!

internal layer fill rotor question

Hello, Please see attached image, does anyone know why the slicer is creating one extra layer on one of the sides of the cylinder and not all around? (red arrow). I'm trying to make a rotor and this is creating an imbalance. Screenshot 2020-05-04 at 11.02.31.png Any ideas how to make the internal cy...

Re: Tip of the Day 17 -New Feature- Horizontal Size Compensation

Ok, I tried with scale and horizontal correction. The results are very similar: I'm ok getting the external size to 20mm by 20mm but the internal hole size that should be 10mm is always a bit smaller, about 9.5mm. Any idea how to correct that? I attach simple STL (20x20x20mm with 10mm diameter hole ...

Re: Tip of the Day 17 -New Feature- Horizontal Size Compensation

Thanks,

Yes I had a look at both, I just cannot get my head around why having an internal and external compensation (but seems to work) as all should be the shame. Trying on S3D and I'm not getting the same results.... anyway, I'll keep trying.

Re: Tip of the Day 17 -New Feature- Horizontal Size Compensation

Hello, I use a FF Dreamer but I really like the flexibility of S3D, however I cannot find a way to do this on S3D. The screen is from FlashPrint: Screenshot 2020-03-19 at 14.48.46.png What it does is to adjust the dimmension variations for external and internal parts. For example a cube with a hole ...
