I needed to look under "M" for "Makerbot Replicator 2X" not "R" for "Replicator 2x".
Everything works now.

Well it appears I am an idiot.
I needed to look under "M" for "Makerbot Replicator 2X" not "R" for "Replicator 2x".
Everything works now.

Simplify3D has a great default profile for this machine. You can download it by going to Help > Configuration Assistant and then select the Makerbot Replicator 2X from the drop-down menu. I to am struggling with this. The above solution produced no results for me. There is no Replicator 2X profile ...
