Re: Printing with the two extruders

Hello! The use of extruders must be configured according to your needs in each section of the configuration. You can select which extruder will be used for supports, filler, brim, raft, etc. If you have generated the profile with the double extrusion wizard, you will see a submenu at the top that al...

Re: Atuo-Configure Material/Print Quality

Hello! Your question is similar to the one in this topic https://forum.simplify3d.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=14688 . Automatic quality adjustments do not influence all profile parameters, only a few, such as layer height, fill, solid layers, etc. And the price of the material per kilogram and densi...

Re: Cant Find T-Rex3 profile in 4.1 latest version

Hello! I think my answer is a little late. In case a printer appears in the list of Printers Supported by Simplify3D ( https://www.simplify3d.com/software/supported-printers/ ) but does not allow to select it in the Software Assistant, you must go to the following link https://www.simplify3d.com/sof...

Re: First layer height depending on Print Quality setting

Hello! "Auto-Configure for print quality" adjustments, as you have seen, do not affect the parameter "First layer Height". It is unique by profile. From my personal experience, I usually assign "First layer Height" for each material, also adding different Z-axis Global ...

Re: preview speed scale change

Hi! The color scale depends on the assigned Maximum and Minimum speeds. It is a comparative allocation. In case "X / Y Movement speed" is higher than "Default printing speed" you will see this as the maximum value of the scale. -If for example you set 80mm / s for "Default p...

Re: PLA and Acetone? Doubt about it.

Thanks very much for the answers :D In my case, acetone does not soften the PLA, but renders the part structurally and aesthetically unusable. I am attaching two photos so you can observe the effects of a small bathroom. WhatsApp Image 2020-04-23 at 12.07.10.jpeg WhatsApp Image 2020-04-23 at 12.07.1...

PLA and Acetone? Doubt about it.

Hi Everyone! When I started my adventures with 3D printers in 2015 I printed all the time with ABS. More than once, with the intention of post-processing with acetone steam to polish it. It wasn't until a year ago that I started using PLA and PETG. According to a lot of content on the internet, PLA ...

Inverted axis movement - Createbot MAX II

Hello! This is my first time in the Simplify3D community. I have been a user of this program for a few years. I own a Createbot Max II printer. As it has an SD reader and a touch screen, I always managed without a USB cable. But in the last few days I set out to investigate the machine further. But ...
