The February 2019 Simplify3D News e-mail announces that V5 would be coming out later in 2019, so it's been well over 3 years since V5 was announced.

Hard to say without pictures. In my experience, PETG doesn't handle over-extrusion well, so it is better to err on the side of under-extrusion.

I had an F400 at my last company and absolutely loved it. No major issues and most prints came out beautiful. My only complaint was that the optical bed leveling probe required frequent recalibration, but they may have addressed that in the F410.

Open the GCODE files in a text editor. There is a settings summary at the very beginning that should have most, it not all, the information you need.
