Re: Proper Material Manager

holy crap, thank you!! i also don't understand why things like material cost and build volume is tied to processes.... the filament isn't getting cheaper, and my bed size isn't getting bigger at a different layer height. saving processes and keeping them organized in a way that works is a process in...

Re: external fill pattern: linear seam stacking

I can see benefit there, but in the interest of part strength I'd like to see an option for two layers overlapping at 45, then two layers overlapping at -45 (or whatever angles are selected). yeah this kinda would have gone with the idea i had in mind, as we already have an option to change rotatio...

Re: ctrl+s / ctrl+shift+s

this happens when i've left a factory file open for a long time. i know for a fact that the file i was working on was a previously saved file because of the amount of objects and processes i had in it. perhaps this happens when i close and re-open S3D, my previous factory file is still loaded onto t...

external fill pattern: linear seam stacking

i would like to see an external fill pattern that prints lines in one linear direction per layer, but offset alternating layers so the line prints directly on top of the seam of the previous layer, so as to reduce the "air gap" between layers.

Re: scroll wheel for number values

i just realized half of my suggestion already exists in the Cross Section window, i'm surprised that functionality doesn't carry across all number input fields as 3D printing is heavily reliant on "dialing in" numbers i would like to also add that i have just discovered the scroll wheel works for ch...

ctrl+s / ctrl+shift+s

they currently do the same thing. not sure if that's intentional or redundant, but i think ctrl+s should just save what i'm working on and not question what i'm trying to do...

scroll wheel for number values

i would like to be able to use the scroll wheel + keyboard function to affect number values

here is an example of how i think it would help to cut down time in slicing for print:

CTRL + SHIFT + scroll = 0.01
CTRL + scroll = 0.1
scroll = 1
ALT + scroll = 10
ALT + SHIFT + scroll = 100
