Re: Build time is way off

It has always underestimated the time. Weight it gets within 2% regularly. It's an easy length of filament measurement for the software. Time is much harder due to the number of movements/lines (prints of over 500,000 lines are common). Accelerations are also difficult to account for. There's a bett...

Re: Makergear M3-ID .fff's

Sorry, should have been clearer. The Makergear site has a link to the suggested S3D .fff's. These included stuff like 2 levels of skirt with 16 outlines each. I haven't been able to get the PLA/PVA support .fff to work right. I'm sure S3D and/or the community will rectify this soon. The M3-ID is a b...

Re: My M2 profiles are on Thingiverse

Thanks for those settings. My M2 is ~1 year old and I've had excellent prints with your .fff (even with students being difficult around the printer). The temp difference was more like 25 degrees less (Makergear green PLA) but I seem to print at ~5 degrees less than most posts I see here and on the o...

thingomatic supported?

I looked for it but sorry if I missed this info in the threads. I'm going to get my ToM out of mothballs and bring it to school (7th/8th grade math students). I've had a pleasant user experience with Creator on my M2 and I'd like to use it instead of bleeping RepG. Can I?

Re: osx mavericks issues

I'm using the same approach as jimc, I uninstalled, reinstalled and now I'll leave it on. It's working fine.
