Re: Simple question: Display of flow rate in preview

Maybe you can post the gcode file? Have you tried checking the starting script for any movements that were manually coded? I've seen people enter speeds in the wrong units and cause crazy fast extrusions by accident. I have removed all of my start code and still the preview windows show those extre...

Re: Simple question: Display of flow rate in preview

Are you using version 5.0.1? The flow rate color range should be determined by the actual flow rates in the gcode file. yes, I am using version 5.0.1 ... Have you looked through the preview to see where the red flow rate color regions appear? there is no red colored region ... all is deep blue as t...

Simple question: Display of flow rate in preview

Maybe a dumb question but is there any setting that configures the range of extrusion rates in the preview? Currently the maximum is a ridiculous 960 mm^3/s while I am printing in the range of max. 20 mm^3/s so everything is the same color.

Thanks for you support.

Re: V5: Per Filament settings / machine dimensions

I believe you can make all of those settings filament settings using the new UI in V5. Click the "..." symbol to the right of the Save As New button and choose "Assign settings to categories". Then you can find all 5 of those settings and change the Auto-Configure Category to &q...

Re: V5 disappointments

Dissapointed as well ... none of the new features is worth to upgrade price with reduced number of licenses ... after 2 days of testing I return my license and stick with V4 (and other slicers who offer significant improvements and are definitely faster adding new stuff).

Re: V5: Per Filament settings / machine dimensions

One setting that you need to change as a function of material is Extrusion Multiplier and thats in the Extruder settings. So if you have a multiple extruder with a different material in each you click on the extruder you want to set on the left side list and the settings all reflect that extruder. ...

Re: V5: Per Filament settings / machine dimensions

You can change the build volume on the Output tab of your process settings. Thanks, I was not aware of this new tab ... What specific filament settings are you looking for? From me experience there are a lot of filament specific settings: 1) hotend temp (both first layer and later on) 2) bed temp (...

V5: Per Filament settings / machine dimensions

Maybe I am to stupid to find, but as my profiles have been migrated from V4 I can not find any menu item to change the machine's bed dimension. V4 offered this via Tools -> Options -> Machine. Do I need to change in V4 and migrate again? Additionally I was hoping that V5 will provide more filament s...
