Yup... documentation is King and is much needed. For my needs (as well as the needs of others), more printed (PDF) info on which macros are used as well as how they are used would be great.

Take a look at the "Advanced" tab in your process and verify that the Non-Manifold slicing behaviour is
not set to "Close and Heal Segments".

My initial suspicion is that you have that option set...
