So here is a video with Ideamaker and the same STL file and the same slicer settings. As you can see, everything is great and smooth. So the S3D developers still have a long way to go.

As you can see in my previous screen capture video, the CPU utilization graph refresh is smooth until the g-code is displayed. Then it all starts to get very jerky. After turning off the g-code display, everything runs smoothly again.

I tryed version 5.1 today, and it is quicker than 5.0.1, but still far a way from IdeaMaker. There is still few seconds waiting time between movements. S3D 5.1 works on M1, but it is very slow, almoust unusable when you need to display and check g-code preview (larger objects).

We payed for S3D Mac version, and there is no answer....

It should be, but on a Mac M1, S3D V5 is at 50% of the speed of V4.1.2. I've been using S3D for many years.
Question is, why other slicers run great on M1, and payed S3D not...
