Thanks Jason. I took your advice and sent that to support. There are more differences between the two printers. Especially with the fans, so I'm looking forward to the reply

v5.1.2 - does not list support for Bambu P1S?
Hello, I checked the supported printers list on the main Simplify3D page, and it says the Bambu P1S is supported, but it only lists the P1P, X1 and X1 Carbon and I have Simplify v5.1.2. Can anyone help as to why it does not show the Bambu P1S or is it essentially the P1P? If it's essentially the P1P...

I now have a X-Smart 3 as well and given that is in the latest X-series printers for QIDI, I just would like, for now, at least, some kind of acknowledgement please. Thanks so much!

I used to just mod the basic 5 materials and save as a new name after endless tweaking till I got a material (filament) dialed in well. However, in v5x I expected there to be more choices by default. +1 Most software will allow this as people have several computers to work with. I know for me, I have a desktop I use it on, but sometimes I want to run it on my laptop for a printer the isn't near the others. Thanks much!

Ahh, gotcha. Well, definitely works once rooted. I've tested it as mentioned originally, so at least until something is worked out between S3D and Creality, I have Machine Control access.

I just realized that port 4408 is not going to work for most people. Without rooting the K1, the port simply denies the connection. Hopefully Simplify can work with Creality to overcome this?
