We have not yet updated to 5.1.2. I took a look at the release notes and this was not specifically addressed. We have seen the behavior since 5.0.

Travel Moves in preview that are not actually there
Running Simplify3D 5.1.1 Having trouble with the preview tab. We see gaps in the layers in preview mode. They seem to be travel moves, but they should be extrusions.
