Re: Slicer skipping 2 layers

Hello, and sorry for the very late reply.

It was indeed a mesh issue, I have taken the object and remodeled it in an analytic geometry sofware, then exported the tesselated body from there again. It worked.

Slicer skipping 2 layers

Hello Everyone! I am trying to print a simple component with my Modix Big 60, with a profile that I've been succesfully using for almost two years now. There is a very interesting error however in the slicer preview. I suspect there is something wrong wth the STL, but at the time I don't have the an...

Re: Inconsistent top/bottom surfaces with coarse layer height

It's somewhat normal in my experience that the first solid layer on top of the infill isn't perfectly smooth. That's part of why you print multiple top solid layers, to allow those defects to smooth out. I am not worried about the top solid layers, as you said, it does indeed smooth out, which I am...

Inconsistent top/bottom surfaces with coarse layer height

Hello Everyone! I am having a small issue with my prints' quality and I can't figure out why. When I'm printing high amounts of material, the surfaces become wavy, coarse, full of blobs. This happens at high wall counts, and high infill densities as well, but not just to the solid area, but everywhe...
