Decouple add/remove multiple support tool from frame rate

My best guess on how add/remove multiple supports currently works is simplify clicks every time a frame is rendered while the mouse is held down. This is fine for small parts or when using large support pillars, but when slicing models for a printer with a bed area of 762x762mm fine control of suppo...

Consolidated Documentation

An actual wiki or just a consolidated settings guide is needed. The anemic tutorials from years ago on the site and forum are not sufficient to understand Simplify for a new user and even veteran users. A great example is scripting. The best resource I have found to explain how they work and example...

Re: Design of experiments, new feature request

This feature would be incredibly useful. I've had to set up test grids many times to determine the best parameters for two settings. Orca does have this under calibration for sever features (there is a retraction one for you to use right now), but the ability to do this in the way you describe would...

Internal Bridging

Please add the ability to generate internal bridges. Dense internal infill is useful and comes close to fulfilling this role, but does not replace it entirely. As of right now it is just one more missing feature that puts simplify behind free and open source slicers like prusa or cura.

Re: Various improvements for variable settings wizard

That gives me another idea. The process that a model is associated with should be highlighted when you click that model. Just so it goes both ways when clicking a process or model.

Various improvements for variable settings wizard

I have an improvement for each method of varying settings. For the first method "Different Settings for Different Models" when all models are broken out into their own process there should be a check box to append the name of the model that the process prints to the process name. This woul...

Re: Batch Export of .fff Profiles

Again, the fact that those files are not named coherently in file explorer is the issue. I know I can just grab those files and import, but it is not practical to pull several files, say ABS 0.6mm, 1.0mm, 1.2mm, 2mm, and 3mm, for a customer or check to see what processes I have backed up on a compan...

Import of fff process from gcode is broken

https://forum.simplify3d.com/viewtopic.php?t=14955 Import of processes from gcode is broken as the title states. The link above shows that it is a feature that is in simplify. I tested it in v4 and it is working in that version. Please fix this. It is also of note that the dialogue for importing pro...

Re: Batch Export of .fff Profiles

I searched the forums before and saw that post as well. My issue is that those profiles are not useful when you want to actually know what you are importing. I understand that they are the same file with a different extension and name, but this is not useful. https://yourimageshare.com/ib/zGVGpyF7in...

Toggle cooling on dense supports

Having cooling set to maximum while printing dense supports can really help breakaway supports to come off with minimal issue. A simple checkbox for cooling on dense supports would be really useful as a feature. I have figured out how to do this with scripts, but it only works if there is only a sin...
