Re: Firmware Macros reseting themselves?

I was having the same problem yesterday with a new install of 3.0.1 on a Windows 8 machine that hasn't had any previous versions installed. They would disappear and revert back to the default macro when the program was restarted and sometimes when closing and reopening the machine control panel. The...

Re: Bug- Y-Axis Flip & View Upside Down

In Solidworks, sketches and features on the front plane correspond to the Z vertical axis. Try sketching and extruding a circle on the front plane and then exporting it as an .stl and you will see that Z is the vertical axis. My guess is that you are starting your solidworks sketches on the top plan...

Vase mode doesn't preserve previous infill setting

In version 2.1.1 if you enable vase mode with the check box, it sets infill to 0 as it should. When you uncheck the box to disable vase mode it doesn't set the infill percentage back to the value it had previous to setting vase mode. Here is the workflow: 1. For normal printing set an infill of 20%....

Re: Version 2.1.1 M104 sent from SD card display problem

To prove my claim, create 2 files in a text editor: on.g M140 S70 M104 S190 T0 off.g M140 S0 M104 S0 T0 Copy them to the SD card and then initiate "print from SD card" from the control window and choose on.g. You will see that that "on" status is relayed to the GUI led for the he...

Re: Version 2.1.1 M104 sent from SD card display problem

In my case I'm running the "print from SD card" from the control panel window. This used to work on the last version and it still works for the heated bed so I think that if the USB is connected then it does send that status back to the control panel. There is definitely still communicatio...

Version 2.1.1 M104 sent from SD card display problem

When an M104 command is sent from the SD card it doesn't turn on or off the led graphic beside the extruder in the machine control panel. Note that this doesn't affect the real leds on the viki LCD panel. I noticed this because I manually turn on the heated bed and extruder before a print to get the...

+1
I use the 3Dconenexion Space navigator with SolidWorks and find myself grabbing for it in S3D out of habit.

Re: Incorrect Per-Layer Fan Control

Yes, I noticed the same thing and started a thread about it earlier:

http://forum.simplify3d.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=640

I normally like the bed fan to be off until layer 14 to avoid warping but it was always turning on for layer 2. I hope it gets fixed for the next release.
