Re: Feature Request: First Layer Thickness

it's also limited to 199%

I think the slic3r approach of allowing you to simply type in a first layer height is more intuitive.

Re: Run time estimate way off

I think it is not possible to have a completely accurate "estimate". Your firmware settings affect how acceleration is handled and that information the slicer does not know, it can only guess. The material usage on the other hand should be quite close, if it is way off you would have seri...

Re: Panning in Creator ssoftware on mac air

I have right click as a two finger click on the touchpad and that works fine on my macbook pro - just push down the pad with two fingers and then move them around to pan.

[ADDED] independent axis scaling

Unless I missed it, currently it is only possible to scale the model globally with a fixed aspect ratio. Can we get the option to scale each axis independently? When adjusting for ABS shrinkage for example I find 1% works well in X and Y but isn't required in Z... in some tight tolerance parts the f...

Re: Feature Request Branching support scaffold

agreed! The meshmixer supports are great (although I edit the parameters and make them thicker, on supports where they start on the model rather than the base they also need more than one contact point to be reliable, but you can add these manually. Haven't seen the adobe ones. To have a similar nat...

Re: Feature request

I know it's a slightly old thread, but I would like to put in a request for honeycomb infill too - I've been playing with slic3r a lot lately and find honeycomb better for ABS.

Re: 2.0.1 update osx - any version notes?

seems layer heights have gone a bit bizarre (at least on my m2 profile) - is this in accordance with actual steps?

edit - nevermind was just something weird, reset the profile and it's back to normal (albeit with more decimal places than I remember lol)

Re: Found 2.0.0 in the downloads last night

great, just downloaded it - thanks for the heads up.

Any reason why the Creator software is fuzzy and low res on my new retina display MBP 13"? seems to be the only program I have affected by it - the buttons and text are all a bit blurry and low res looking.

Re: PLA High quality profile doesn't "cap" parts

The root cause of the problem I was seeing is how the slicer resolves the issue of the what to do with the infill when the feature thickness is less than the thickness dictated by the number of perimeter shells. For example, let's say I'm calling for 3 perimeter shells. Based on my nozzle and filim...

I think I may have deleted the files to prevent me from selecting the wrong ones...

I'll generate some more today and post them up when I get a chance.
