Re: The last

What temperature was the extruder at? Was the fan on? And what material were you using (PLA or ABS)? If you have the .gcode file, I'd be happy to take a look at it for you or even try printing the same file on one of our machines here. A little known fact, the gcode files actually contain the comple...

Re: The last

Glad you've been liking the software thus far! It's a little hard to tell the scale of those objects from the images, but it looks like it might be a simple case of undercooling. The peeled up corners and ripped layers are usually a classic sign that the layers aren't getting enough time to cool. Cr...

Re: Support structures for SLA type printers

This is something we have in the pipeline for the future, but the software can definitely be used for these purposes right now. You have complete control over the placement of individual support pillars so you can manually place them on the few locations where they would be needed, or you can let th...

Using Creator with MakerBot Printers

As many of you now, version 1.1.3 of the Creator software includes support for MakerBot printers using whpthomas' great GPX plugin ( https://github.com/whpthomas/GPX ). We've integrated this tool into the software so that all you have to do it enable the "Create x3g files for Makerbot printers..." o...

Re: Creator 1.1.3 Update

Karl - Thanks for the test file. Can you do me a favor and give this another try? Re-download and reinstall and let me know if we have this resolved. It works on my end using your sample file so hopefully it's the same over there.

Re: Creator 1.1.3 Update

Karl - Have you tried re-downloading version 1.1.3 based on the comment above? We made a fix today that should solve this, but it requires downloading v1.1.3 again and reinstalling.

Re: Creator 1.1.3 Update

I think you can force some weird things to happen if you try to move or arrange a model while it is still in the process of dropping. I'll see if we can get a hotfix together to prevent this. [EDIT] Hot fix has been applied so this shouldn't be an issue anymore. If you downloaded v1.1.3 in the last ...

Re: Skirt Bug

If you are using support material, the raft and skirt outlines will be based on the complete 2D "flattened" outline of the part, which is what you're looking for. So as a work-around, you could try enabling the "Generate support material" option and then just set the max overhang angle to 89 degrees...

Creator 1.1.3 Update

We finally put the finishing touches on version 1.1.3 of the Creator software! This one was a long time in the works and includes several big improvements. As you might have heard earlier this week, we overhauled the jog controls on the Machine Control Panel to be much easier to use compared to the ...
