Re: perimeter speed not honored uniformly

Does in not help if you set speedoverrides to more than 15 sec? For example 25-30 sec..

Re: raft separation/ model adhesion

I use hairspray for PLA, sticks really good in unison with some heat on the bed, like 50-60 c.

Need a little help with PID tuning.

I have a roll of polycarbonate that should be printed around 300c, but can't get the PID under control. I am using a E3D hotend on a K8200. The temperature will either not stabilize or overshoot TOO much. I have even edited the firmware to 320c, original max temp was 280 in marlin i think. Before re...

Re: Ooooooooozzzzzee

I don't know what pet+ is, but i have printed a lot of nylon lately, and i have 7-8mm retraction and 2-3mm coasting. That gives me the least oozing and stringing at 260c.

Should perhaps play a little with the ooze control also..

Zig-Zag'ing bug again.. :(

I got this weird zigzaging again today. I can't see anything in the preview as to why it does it. In the preview there is no visible "dotting" as it does. This bug makes it take MUCH longer to print. And it gets UGLY. The wheel : After the top 3 layers in the middle, when it begins to print the edge...

Re: heating the bed

If you want 110c on layer 1 to 5, you just set it on layer 1, then on layer 6 you set the next temp. No need to set temp on every layer.
If you want 110c on whole print, you only set temp at first layer, it will keep temp for the rest of the print..

Re: framing error detected by hardware

I had the same error a while ago, but in my case it was a bas solder on mainboard power connector.

Re: Calibration object not sliced correctly

Really? I had no idea about that. Never heard that before. That is good to know. Would it then be possible to print 0.05 walls? ;) Could also be a future feature to have selectable automatic settings of extrusion? Ah, yes you're correct. I forgot to mention that. Changing the width will make the sof...

Same for me, but isn't that good? Why should it bridge all?

Re: If Simplify 3D version 2.1.0 is CRASHING when you "Prepa

I have the same bug.
A tip is to exit the program before hitting prepare. If it crashes you just need to start the program again. It starts automatic with the last loaded objects and settings.
So you don't have to load the objects and placements again.
